Partial Washout Tuesday, Tennis & Softball on Wednesday's Calendar
Rain impacted some games yesterday, but as the weather clears the Red Devils get heir chance against some tough opponents.
Burlington athletics yesterday weren't a complete washout, but the softball and baseball games were rained out. The boys' lacrosse team did get to play, though things didn't go their way against the 7-2 Andover team. The Red Devils are now 6-7 on the season.
The volleyball teams also got to work against Belmont. The varsity team took one set but ultimately lost 1-3. The JV team swept both their sets, winning 2-0.
The tennis and softball teams are trying again today, and the weather should be much more cooperative by game time.
The 6-4 boys' and 4-6 girls' tennis teams have their work cut out for them as they both play 10-2 Winchester teams. The boys will host the Red and Black at Rahanis at 4:00, and the girls will play in Belmont at 4:15.
The 6-6 varsity softball team is at 7-3 Belmont for a 4:15 game; JV plays at that time, as well.
