Red Devils Football Shuts Out Lexington 48–0 in Home Opener
Burlington football opens at home with a 48–0 shutout of Lexington while boys' and girls' soccer and boys' golf host Friday's home slate.
Boys' football opened the home season Thursday night with a dominant 48–0 win over Lexington.
Girls' volleyball split results against Melrose. JV took the match 2–1 to earn the team's first win of the year, improving to 1–1. Freshman fell in straight sets (0–2) and varsity fell 0–2, as well.
Girls' field hockey fell to Melrose 3–0 at both the JV and varsity levels.
Three programs are home Friday. Boys' golf hosts Reading Memorial at 3:30, boys' soccer hosts Whittier Regional at 4:30, and girls' soccer hosts Arlington Catholic with JV at 4:30 and varsity at 6:30.
