Hello, Neighbors!

This morning, I wanted to be sure you’re in the know about a few upcoming fun, interesting, and important events in Burlington.

  • The HELPIS Celebration of Kindness is less than 48 hours away, and there are still a very few tickets available for purchase. Come dance the night away and celebrate the kindness that has been shown in Burlington this year. The event runs from 7-11 tomorrow, May 19, at the American Legion. Get your tickets here!

  • The Community Health Fair is this Saturday from 10:00-1:00 at the BHS Gym. They’ll have all sorts of preventive services, demonstrations, and information, as well as raffles and even complimentary Yoga-Barre and Zumba classes! Admission is free, and a great time is sure to be had by all.

  • The Community Yard Sale is also happening on Saturday, from 9:00-2:00. There will be a community location at Memorial School as well as private residences participating. Map below!

  • Tonight is the community forum for the Fox Hill Building Project. For more information and to come prepared with your questions, please review this post and visit the project’s website. As a reminder, these decisions will affect all of Burlington, so be informed. After reviewing the presentation on Tuesday, it’s clear that many options will be considered—and that decisions haven’t been made yet. See you there!

Girls’ lacrosse won their varsity game 15-10, while JV lost 9-7. Boys also won, with a score of 10-5.

Track results are still coming in, but there is much to celebrate from both the girls’ and boys’ performances this week Girls took 5th at the Middlesex League Championship!
