Daily Buzz | Family Movie at 11:00 at the Library
Also, planning board to discuss January warrant articles
Good morning, Burlington!
With everyone either under the weather or out of school, I decided to turn off the alarm and am getting a little of a late start today. So here’s a quick one.
I’ll finish the warrant article summaries throughout today and they’ll be done tomorrow morning. Spoiler alert, though: The only thing left to summarize is the acquisition of land and the hybrid committee meeting/Town Meeting articles. I’ll do that when I have the time to give them the attention they deserve.
Backup was sent out yesterday for articles 6-8 confirming what I had already said there.
No school today, which I’m sure you already know.
There’s a family movie at the library at 11:00, as well as Lunar New Year crafts at 4:00.

Today in Burlington
Meetings and Events
6:00 PM - Rules Committee at the Town Hall Annex. They’ll be reviewing Town Meeting articles 14-19, which relate to hybrid meetings for Town boards and committees and Town Meeting. Again, summaries to come.
7:00 PM - Planning Board at the Town Hall Main Hearing Room and online. They’ll be discussing projects on Blue Sky Drive and returning to the request for a special permit from Foodland Supermarket on Cambridge Street where Metro Credit Union used to be. (An earlier version of this article showed the wrong agenda. Apologies!)
Sports and Activities
Wrestlers fell last night to Woburn with a score of 25-54, while our girls’ hockey team tied Malden Catholic 0-0. Our boys’ swim team also won against Winchester earlier this week with a score of 88-81.
The only event on the calendar for today is a boys’ gymnastics meet at home against Lowell at 7:00.
That’s all I’ve got for you today. Have a good one!
