Boys' soccer held on to beat Melrose 3–2 Tuesday in what the team described as a tale of two halves against a strong, fast Melrose squad. Burlington found a way to pull ahead when all was said and done.

Girls' volleyball went 2–1 against North Andover. JV won in straight sets to improve to 3–1, and varsity took a 3–0 victory to even their record at 2–2. Abby Seaman was named player of the match, finishing with 7 aces, 26 assists, and 11 digs. Freshman fell 1–2, dropping to 1–3.

Girls' field hockey travels to Bishop Fenwick tonight for a 6:30 varsity match. The JV game has been canceled.
