Volleyball Sweeps Arlington for First Time; Soccer Wins, Field Hockey Falls

Girls' volleyball swept Arlington in all three matches Monday — the program's first sweep of the Spy Ponders. Freshman and JV each won 2–1, and varsity rolled to a 3–0 win to close out the night.

Girls' soccer picked up a 3-0 win Monday as well, while the field hockey team fell 1–0 to Arlington at both the varsity and JV levels.

Burlington is back in action Tuesday with a busy schedule. Boys' and girls' cross country travel to Reading for a 4:00 meet. At 4:15, 3 soccer games will be underway: Boys' varsity soccer and girls' JV soccer both host Melrose, while JV boys travel to Melrose. Girls' volleyball hosts North Andover, with the JV and freshman teams playing at 4:45 and varsity playing at 6:00.
