Daily Buzz | Draft Town Meeting Warrant Available

Some articles postponed until May

Good Morning!

The Warrant for January Town Meeting was posted in draft form this week to the town’s website. In it is a request for $25k for cybersecurity consultation as well as a few related general bylaw articles relating to allowing Town Meeting to occur in hybrid format.

Absent from this Warrant are articles relating to the placement of an electronic sign on the corner of the Town Common. After the joint meeting of several different boards last month, it was questionable whether or not the article would make it to January Town Meeting, and it turns out the time crunch was too much. the Sign Subcommittee of the Zoning Bylaw Review committee will meet again in February and will pick up the topic, hopefully for placement in the Warrant for May Town Meeting.
