Track Teams, Boys Tennis Score Wins as Red Devils Navigate Busy Thursday
Burlington's track teams rolled past Watertown and boys tennis topped Wilmington, while baseball fell in nine innings on a busy Thursday.
Burlington High School had a busy Thursday afternoon.
Boys' baseball fell to Arlington 4-3 in nine innings.
Lexington swept the boys' volleyball team 3-0, dropping BHS to 5-4. JV fell 2-0 and is now 3-6.
Boys' tennis topped Wilmington 4-1 to move to 2-5, with wins by Ridhaan Ayyagari, Casey Shannon, Melanson/Torres, and Patel/Li. Girls' tennis fell to Wilmington 4-1. Emery Shaw won at third singles for Burlington.
Arlington won 10-7 over varsity girls softball, sending the Lady Devils to 2-4, while both track teams dominated Watertown at home. Boys won 134-2; girls won 107-22.
