Red Devils Wrestling Battles Saint John's, Boys’ Hockey Notches Another Win

The Red Devils were working hard on the mat and on the ice as winter action continued Wednesday.

Burlington wrestling fell 41–29 to St. John’s Shrewsbury, but not without strong individual performances. Pins from Shvartsman, Prajapati, and Bonnell kept the Devils competitive, while Abreu and McElroy earned major decisions and Josh Leavitt added a decision victory. Burlington now sits at 11–8 on the season.

On the ice, boys’ hockey continued its strong campaign with a 3–2 win over Wilmington. Goals from Nestor, Berardinelli, and Gordon powered the offense, while MacLeod was steady in net. The win moves Burlington to 9–1 at the midseason mark.
