Red Devils Return From Break With Five Wins, Baseball and Both Tennis Teams Sweep Monday
Baseball, tennis, and lacrosse all won as Burlington returned from April vacation Monday, while volleyball dropped a close match at Woburn.
Burlington High School had an exciting first day back from April vacation.
Both baseball squads beat Stoneham at home. Varsity won 3-1 to move to 4-6; JV won 3-0.
Both tennis teams also swept. Boys won 4-1 at Stoneham, with wins by Jhumat, Shannon, Melanson/Li, and Briscoe/Patel. They're now 3-6. Girls won 5-0 at home, with kudos to Therese, Shreeya, Cecelia, Samira, Emery, Nishtha, and Molly. Their new record is 2-4.
Girls' lacrosse beat Wilmington 17-6 at home to move to 5-6, while the boys edged Wilmington 12-11 on the road; they're now 7-3.
Boys volleyball fell at Woburn. Varsity lost 1-3, now 5-5; Rohit Vijayakumar was named Player of the Match. JV fell 0-2.
Unified basketball dropped a 24-31 decision to Arlington.

- 4:00 — Tennis against Watertown: boys host at Rahanis Park; girls travel to Watertown for their game.
- 4:15 — JV and varsity baseball vs. Wakefield (Francis Wyman Field for varsity; Center Street Field for JV).
