Red Devils Poised to Begin Another Season of Athletics
Preseason scrimmages and practices are underway for the fall sports teams at BHS.
School might not have begun, but fall athletics are definitely underway. The swim team, combining with Woburn again this year, is already in the pool, and the soccer, football, field hockey, volleyball, and cross-country teams have started ramping up their seasons, as well. The first regular-season contest for many teams will be next week, with football holding off until September.
Golf has already pocketed its first win of the season, besting Bedford 43.5-28.5 while half the players shot below 40.
Today, there are JV and varsity boys' soccer scrimmages at home against Boston Latin School, starting at 4:15.
