Softball wins, track teams put up strong performances at State Relays, boys’ tennis stays hot. Red Devils return to action today with a full afternoon of games.

Red Devils Dominate in Softball, Tennis & Track Over Strong Weekend

From record-setting relays to big wins on the field, the Red Devils capped off the weekend with serious momentum.

The boys’ lacrosse team beat out Stoneham on Friday night in a 16–5 win, while girls’ Lacrosse fought hard in a 12–10 road loss to Ipswich on Saturday.

Softball rolled to a 7–2 win over Wilmington on Sunday, powered by Maddy King's perfect 4-for-4 day at the plate and a stellar outing from Alyssa Matarazzo on the pitcher's mound.

Boys’ track took 2nd place out of 30 teams at the Division 4 State Relays, scoring 75.5 points and medaling in 13 of 15 events - including setting School Records in:

    • Shuttle Hurdles: Gray/Sheehan/Conte/Sekandi
    • 4x200: Burke/Dalalelis/Brooks/Cox
    • Long Jump Relay: Brooks/Gray/Sheehan

Girls’ track also made waves, finishing 4th overall, including a first-place finish in the high jump.

The boys’ Tennis team kept the hot streak alive with their fifth win of the week, defeating Central Catholic 4–1. Wins came from Ridhaan Ayyagari, Krish Soni, and doubles teams Patel/Jhumat and Shannon/Melanson.
