Woburn games yield mixed results; girls' gymnastics edges out a win over Wakefield

The girls' and boys' basketball teams split the Battle of Winn Street yesterday, with the boys besting Woburn in a close match and the girls getting outplayed in the second half.

Boys' basketball took the 52-47 win in their first home game in several weeks, led by Gray with 18 points and Poehler with 14. Their new record is 7-2 on the season (6-1 in the Middlesex League). The girls played a strong first half, but lost steam in the back half of their game at Woburn and ultimately fell 63-38.

The girls' gymnastics team took a 127-123 win over Wakefield in an away meet.
