Red Devils Baseball, Lacrosse Win Three of Four Over Patriots' Day Weekend

Girls' and boys' lacrosse both won, baseball rallied past Bedford in eight innings, and boys' tennis dropped a close match to Waltham over the holiday weekend.

Burlington High School sports teams were in action over the Patriots' Day holiday weekend, Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18.

Boys' tennis fell at Waltham 2-3 on Friday, with wins by Ridhaan Ayyagari and Jhumat for Burlington. Varsity girls' lacrosse closed out Friday with an 11-7 win at Pentucket, moving to 4-3.

On Saturday, varsity boys' lacrosse edged Nauset 10-9 in a home game, moving to 5-2. Varsity baseball won 8-7 in eight innings at Bedford, a combined effort the coaching staff called a huge team win.
