Burlington Spring Sports Continue Competitive Stretch with Close Finishes, Key Wins

Burlington spring teams continued a competitive early-season stretch, battling through close contests and picking up key wins as the schedule intensifies across all programs.

On the courts, boys’ volleyball delivered a strong performance to close the week, earning a 3–1 win over Medford behind standout play from Ayan Suhail. The JV squad battled but fell in a tight three-set match.

Tennis faced a tough test against Arlington. The boys dropped their match 5–0 despite competitive play throughout; the girls fell 4–1, with Therese Kozinski earning her first singles win.

On the diamond, baseball came up just short in a 7–6 loss to Lexington, while the JV squad fell 6–1. Softball split results, with JV earning a thrilling 9–8 win over Lexington and varsity falling 14–1.

Across all teams, the early season continues to bring growth, experience, and opportunities to build momentum as Burlington heads deeper into April.


Monday, April 13 Schedule

  • Girls Lacrosse vs. Melrose (home): JV plays at 4:30 at Marshall Simonds; varsity plays at 5:30 at BHS.
  • Boys Lacrosse at Melrose: 4:15 varsity game; 5:30 JV game.
  • Tennis vs. Reading Memorial: Both boys and girls play at 4:00; boys host at Rahanis, while girls travel to face the Rockets in Reading.
