Volleyball Falls, Weather Delays Tennis & More

It was another tough day on the court for Burlington volleyball, as both teams came up short against their opponents. JV fell 0ā2, while Varsity managed to take one set before ultimately losing 1ā3.
Tennis players got a breakānot by choice, but by weather. Rain washed out yesterday's matches.
Looking ahead, the weather may continue to play spoiler. Todayās baseball and varsity softball games against Watertown are both at risk of rainouts. If they happen, softball and JV baseball will be at 4:15 at Marvin and Wildwood fields, and varsity baseball will be at 4:30 at Center Street field.
Volleyball is set to travel to Belmont today, with JV starting at 4:15 and Varsity at 5:30.
Boysā lacrosse heads to Andover for a JV game at 5:00, followed by Varsity under the lights at 7:00, weather permitting.
And, tomorrowās track & field showdown with Wakefield has been rescheduled. Burlington will now face both Wakefield and Stoneham on Wednesday, May 14, at BHS.
