Burlington Boys’ Tennis Tops Wilmington; Full Slate of Games Ahead Today
Burlington boys' tennis beats Wilmington 4–1 to go 5–3 on the season; volleyball, lacrosse, baseball, and unified basketball teams all in action today.

The boys' tennis team improved their record to 5-3 on the season yesterday with a 4-1 win against Wilmington. Winners on the day were Soham Shah and Abhay Jhumat in singles, and the partnerships of Vivek Patel & Luqman Shaikh and Casey Shannon & Nathan Melanson. The boys and girls are both back at it today, hosting Stoneham at Rahanis for 4:00 games.
The volleyball team's streak of losses unfortunately continued yesterday with a 2-0 JV loss and a 3-1 varsity loss against Woburn.
The unified coed basketball team plays again today in Watertown at 4:00. Lacrosse against Belmont is also on the calendar: Boys will host a 4:00 JV game at Marshall Simonds and a 5:30 varsity game at BHS; girls will travel to face the Marauders for a 4:30 JV game and a 6:00 varsity game.
The baseball team will also be at work today, as both JV and varsity teams travel down Winn Street for 4:00 games at Woburn.
