Good Morning, Burlington!
It’s been quite a week for the Buzz, as we (I) have been making the rounds in local media to share our story and also perform a little journalism. Yesterday was the last official buzz appearance for a while, where I served as a panelist on the BCAT School Committee Candidates’ Debate. Candidates answered questions about staffing, capital planning, and more. Be sure to watch as you work on deciding who you’ll be voting for.
Here are a few other appearances, all in one place, so you can learn all about the local media landscape and what the Buzz is trying to do to support it.
Boston Public Radio segment with Jim & Margery. the episode is called “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back” (March 15), and the segment begins about 30 minutes in.
As always, the best way to support this little local news operation is to share the Buzz (and why you love it!) with everyone you know in Burlington and to support us with a Hive membership if you’re able.
In Partnership with Nicci’s Notes
Join Nicci in conversation with Barbara L’Heureux this Saturday at the Burlington Public Library. Nicci will read passages from her debut novel, When We Were Mothers, and share about the writing process and whatever else guests are interested in knowing about! There will be time for Q&A, and you can purchase a book at the event (or bring your own!) for Nicci to sign. See you there!
