Good morning!
I have some postponements to share today.
Due to the expected rain, the Beer Garden scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for 10/6. Also, the public hearing to discuss our upcoming contract renewal with Republic (our waste collection service) has been postponed to 10/24. I’ll be sure and remind you before the date.
Again, the options that have been presented are:
Stop collecting yard waste curbside.
Move recycling collection to every two weeks.
Move to multi-day collection.
Begin charging households a fee.
If you have questions or thoughts about this, be sure to keep this new meeting date on your calendar so you can ask questions and provide input.
I did learn yesterday that large recycling barrels are available for order from the DPW, though. Just call them at 781-270-1670.
