Call for Submissions: Share Your Spring Photos and Writing in Buzz Magazine
Have a spring photo or short piece of writing to share? Buzz Magazine invites Burlington residents to submit work for its Spring issue.
For more than two years, Buzz Magazine has been the go-to source for seasonal information about the Burlington community. From municipal updates and event listings to stunning local photography, this full-color magazine is designed to be read—and re-read—all season long.
As of November 2025, Buzz Magazine is published online and delivered to every home in Burlington (all 10,388 of them). With the Spring edition now in production, we’re inviting residents to help shape the magazine by submitting their own creative work.
Some of the most meaningful pages in Buzz Magazine come directly from our readers. Whether it’s a snapshot of spring arriving in your neighborhood or a short piece of writing that captures a moment in town life, these contributions reflect Burlington in a way no single voice ever could.
Starting Monday, January 12, readers are invited to submit a favorite springtime photo or an original written work for consideration. Selected photos will appear in our Spring photo spread, and selected writing will be featured in our Reader Showcase (click the links for examples from the Winter issue).
We welcome spring photos (maximum size 10 MB) as well as short stories, poems, haiku, or other original writing (up to 100 words). If you’ve ever thought about sharing your creative work with a wider audience, this is your opportunity—your work could be seen by more than 10,000 Burlington households.
Submit your photo or writing here by January 31, and keep an eye out for Buzz Magazine when it arrives in mailboxes this March.
