Burlington's Local "I Voted" Sticker Contest Winner Announced

Burlington residents who participate in the town's local election will sport a home-grown acknowledgement sticker after voting this April.

The "I Voted" sticker contest, sponsored by the Burlington Town Clerk's office, celebrated its third year with more than 200 entries from students in kindergarten through fifth grade at the town's elementary schools.

Attendees at last night's Civic Expo voted on their favorite design, and while all the designs were unique and highlighted a different aspect of civic life, a winner emerged after about 100 votes.

Reid Calandrelli, with his depiction of the town's gazebo, took home the prize this year, followed by runner up Tessa, with her eagle design on a red-white-and-blue background. The winning design and the runner-up will be handed out to voters at this year's local election.

"I’m very happy my 'I Voted' sticker won!" said Reid, a fifth grader at Fox Hill. "Drawing is one of my favorite hobbies. I drew the town common because it’s a nice and peaceful place for everyone in town to go. I hope everyone gets out to vote this spring."

This year's local election will be held on April 11, 2026.
