You're Invited: The Second Annual Burlington Civic Expo
Ms. Wendy Pavlicek and her pal, Scout, represent the Burlington Science Center at the 2024 Civic Expo.

The second annual Burlington Civic Expo is coming to Burlington High School, and everyone who lives, works, or plays in Burlington is invited.

Sponsored by Burlington Buzz and the Burlington Town Clerk's Office, this free event welcomes community members of all ages to come together for an evening of learning and connection. Representatives from across the town's municipal departments, elected and appointed Boards, nonprofits and other volunteer organizations will be on hand to answer questions and educate community members on their role in supporting the Burlington community.

Free refreshments will be provided by The Bagel Bar, Wegmans, LaCascia's Bakery & Deli, and possibly other area businesses, and kids' activities will be offered and supervised by the Burlington High School National Honor Society. Also, attendees will be entered to win door prizes such as a restaurant gift card, a Parks & Recreation Department credit, and a specialty gift basket.

Come spend the evening connecting with your neighbors and the municipal employees, elected officials, and volunteers who support your life on a daily basis. The Civic Expo will be on January 15, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Burlington High School cafeteria. The event is free, and community members can drop in and out as desired. Last year's inaugural event saw over a hundred Burlington residents come together, and this year the event will be held in a larger venue with more parking so more neighbors can comfortably attend.

Immediately following the event, join us at Goodnight Johnny's Music Bar (154 Cambridge Street) for a fundraiser to benefit Burlington Buzz operations and People Helping People, the nonprofit organization serving Burlington families in need through administration of the Food Pantry, Wish Tree, and other social programs. Appetizers will be provided, and attendees will have the opportunity to connect with their neighbors and learn more about both the Buzz and PHP.

Get Your Tickets Now for the Second Annual Burlington Civic Expo, and for the After-Party, and be sure to share the event with your friends and family in Burlington!
