Volleyball, Tennis Seasons End in Round of 16; Red Devils Close Out Spring
Boys' volleyball and boys' tennis both fall in Tuesday's Round of 16, closing the books on a spring that saw four Burlington programs reach the MIAA tournament.
Burlington's two remaining spring programs fell Tuesday in the MIAA Division 2 Round of 16, closing out the spring sports season.
Boys' volleyball lost 1–3 to fourth-seeded Milford in the Sweet 16, ending the season at 12–10. Rohit Vijayakumar was named player of the match. The Red Devils close out a year to remember; the program reached the Round of 16 for the first time in its history, and eight seniors wrap up their Burlington careers.
Boys' tennis fell 1–4 at fourth-seeded Walpole, ending the season at 11–10. The Red Devils finished the regular season 10–9, claimed a share of the Middlesex League Freedom division title, and advanced past Minnechaug in the Round of 32 before falling to the Timberwolves on Tuesday.
