Varsity Volleyball Pulls Off Reverse Sweep; Golf Narrowly Falls to Winchester
Red Devils golf battles in a 37-35 loss to Winchester, while varsity volleyball storms back for a reverse sweep to improve to 6-1.
Thursday was another exciting day in BHS athletics.
The Red Devils golf team came up just short against Winchester, 37–35, at Winchester Country Club. Piscatelli (37), Crossman (38), and Brothers (39) turned in strong rounds to lead the Devils.
In volleyball, the varsity team staged a thrilling reverse sweep to beat Wakefield 3-2, improving to 6-1 on the season. After dropping the first two sets 27-29 and 20-25, the Red Devils stormed back 25-18, 25-21, and 16-14 in the fifth. Emerson Matta was named Player of the Match. JV fell 0-2 (now 4-3), and the freshmen lost 0-2 (now 1-6).
