Soccer Wins Highlight Burlington’s Waning Regular-Season Action
Red Devils teams wrap up their season this week, await tournament brackets
It was a quiet day in Burlington athletics, as most teams have wrapped up their regular season and are awaiting the release of tournament brackets.
The boys' soccer team wrapped up their season last night with a 1-0 in against Stoneham, improving their record to 3-14-1. The team's goal was scored by Sam F. from Newhall, and Ruiz and McGee split the clean sheet.
Girls scored a Senior Night shutout, besting Stoneham 4-0, moving to 9-6-2 on the season. Their last regular season game will be tomorrow at Watertown.
There's nothing on the athletics calendar this afternoon, but brackets for field hockey and volleyball will be released today. Our girls' teams are ranked 31 and 10, respectively.
