Red Devils Volleyball, Field Hockey Fall to Winchester
Burlington volleyball and field hockey teams drop home contests; teams take on Bedford & Stoneham this Friday & Saturday
The Red Devils faced a tough Thursday slate against Winchester.
The Field Hockey team fell 2–0 but showed strong teamwork and solid ball movement.
The volleyball team fell in a rare full-team loss, with the freshman team losing 2-0, JV falling 2-1, and Varsity yielding 3-0. The varsity Player of the Match was Lexie Carmody.
The Woburn/Burlington swim team was at it late into the evening; we'll report the results when we have them.
Here's your Friday schedule:
- Volleyball vs Bedford (Home): Freshman at 4:15, JV at 4:00, Varsity at 5:30
- Football vs Stoneham (Home): Varsity at 6:00
Saturday will feature a 10:00 game for the JV football team at Stoneham and a 1:00 varsity field hockey game, also at Stoneham.
