Girls' volleyball to take on Westwood, football team to defend undefeated record

Post-Season Starts Today for Lady Devils Volleyball

The girls' soccer team ended the regular season on a high note, defeating Watertown 4-2 on Raiders turf. That brings to a close a standout regular season for the team, ending with a 10-6-2 record, with state tournament playoffs set to begin in just a few days.

The Junior Devils middle school football team finished their season undefeated after beating Woburn 46-0 on Wednesday; half of their eight games this year were shutouts. Congrats to your Minuteman Division champions!

The MIAA wasted no time scheduling the first of the state tournament games. While the field hockey just missed the playoffs, the volleyball team made it in – and for them, action starts now. The #11 Lady Devils will take on the #22 Westwood Patriots at BHS this afternoon at 4:15. Good luck, team!

The football team will test their undefeated record with a special Thursday evening game today against Wakefield to cap off their regular season. Kickoff is at 6:00 on Varsity Field.

The soccer and football tournament brackets will be released this weekend – check back at Burlington Buzz to stay up to date.
