Golf Wins Big, Soccer and Field Hockey Fall; Busy Home Slate vs. Lexington Today

Burlington teams faced tough competition Tuesday, with mixed results across the board.
In golf, the Red Devils earned a convincing 51-21 win over Watertown at Billerica Country Club, sweeping all 10 matches and improving their record to 2-3 on the season.
The boys' and girls' soccer teams both lost their matches to Lexington, with the boys falling 3-1 (new record: 0-3) and the girls suffering their first loss of the year with a score of 1-0 (new record: 1-2).
In a hard-fought battle at home, the varsity field hockey team fell just short to Weston 4-3, slipping to 0-3 on the season. They'll be back at it on Thursday, seeking their first win of the season in a home game against Melrose.
