Football, Volleyball Deliver Strong Wins; Field Hockey Battles to a Draw

The Red Devils had a successful weekend across several sports:

In Football, Burlington defeated Stoneham 30–14 in a hard-fought game highlighted by touchdowns from Ellis, Conte, Fernandes, and a kick return from Brooks.

A special Spike Out Cancer night saw all three volleyball teams sweep Bedford — Freshmen 2–1, JV 2–0, and Varsity 3–0 (new record: 13–4) — while raising $6,400 for the American Cancer Society. The Player of the Match was Lexie Carmody.

The field hockey team played to a 0–0 tie with Stoneham. Senior Mairin Condon was recognized for her adaptability and strong play.

The Lady Devils soccer team Fell 2–0 to Melrose; now they're 8–6 on the season.
