Busy Afternoon Ahead for Burlington High School Sports
Red Devils volleyball keeps their early-season perfect record. A busy Thursday afternoon is on the schedule, provided the weather cooperates.
Burlington's boys' volleyball team continues putting up wins, moving to 3-0 after a dominant win in Framingham on Tuesday. Player of the Match Caden Schultz helped the team secure a 3-0 victory against the Flyers. The JV team won their outing 2-1, bringing their record to 2-1.
The baseball team had a scrimmage against Billerica on Wednesday, and the boys' tennis team played Reading on Tuesday. (The girls' game was postponed.) Scores for these games are yet to be posted.
It's a busy Thursday afternoon in BHS athletics, weather permitting:
- Boys' lacrosse versus Chelmsford: JV plays at 4:00, and varsity plays at 5:30.
- Boys' volleyball at Belmont: JV gamea t 4:00; varsity game at 5:15.
- The tennis teams play Watertown at 4:00, with boys hosting the Warriors and girls traveling for their game.
- Today's girls' lacrosse games have been postponed.
