Boys' volleyball heads to Milford and boys' tennis to Walpole in Tuesday's Round of 16 after the Red Devils went 1–1 in Friday tournament play.
Burlington went 1–1 in tournament play Friday, with boys' volleyball making program history and boys' lacrosse closing out a strong season.
Boys' volleyball beat Ware 3–0 in the Round of 32 at home to advance to the Round of 16 for the first time in program history. Mark Delaney was named player of the match. The Red Devils improve to 12–9 overall.
Boys' lacrosse fell 7–12 at 11th-seeded Canton in the Round of 32, ending the season at 10–8. The program noted the game was tighter than the final score suggests. Head coach paid tribute to the seniors on X after the game: "Class of 2026 — thank you will never be enough. But it's all we'll ever have. You helped shape and redefine this program better than you found it. No matter where you go, or what you do, never forget that locker room will always be open for you and that field will always be home."
No games are scheduled for today, but the two remaining Burlington teams are in action Tuesday in the Round of 16. Boys' volleyball travels to fourth-seeded Milford at 3:45 PM, and boys' tennis travels to fourth-seeded Walpole at 4:00 PM.
