Weekly Buzz | Town Meeting Begins Monday

And don’t miss the Senior Expo today

Good Morning, Burlington!

As a reminder, today is the last day of the Addams Family play. Today is also the Walk for Hunger at the BHS track. Come by and cheer people on, and/or donate here. And finally, today’s the day for the Senior Expo, sponsored by Indian Americans of Greater Boston.

Before we get started, I wanted to let you know about something meaningful that happened this week at Shawsheen Tech. In honor of Genocide Awareness Month, the school displayed part of an exhibit, on loan from Merrimack College, called “The Courage to Remember.” The exhibit is a visual narrative that tells the story of the Holocaust; it was viewed by Shawsheen students in conjunction with a trip to the Holocaust Memorial in Boston and an assembly where guest speaker Paulette Buchheim will share her family’s Holocaust survival story.
