Hello, Burlington!
I had my banner all set for this week, and—no joke—as I was writing this email, another membership came in! So I updated the banner, and I didn’t mind at all. Because that means we are raising lots of money for People Helping People this month. Thank you so much for your support. If you haven’t yet become a member, help us keep that number climbing.
This Week in Burlington
I’ll just say it: This week in Burlington is a little nuts. Between Election Day and Veteran’s Day, there’s a lot of no-school and, if you’re anything like me, probably a lot of aimless drifting. Oh, and Daylight Savings Time ended in the wee hours this morning. So if you’re anything like me and feel like the day has been going on forever, and it’s still only 6:30 AM, I have nothing of comfort to tell you other than that you’re not alone. Hopefully we (and our poor children) acclimate quickly, but I rather suspect this week is just going to be a wash and we’ll all feel better when it’s over.
