TFW the weather is, finally, just perfect. Photo by author.

Hello, neighbor!

I was trying to think of an uplifting rhyme or song for the beginning of the school year and couldn’t think of one. I have Alice Cooper’s iconic last-day hit in my mind, as well as that rhyme about teachers’ dirty looks (to which, as a teacher myself, I take issue), but I can’t think of an energizing tune in our collective body of cultural artifacts. If you can, leave it in the comments. I’ll share tomorrow!

At any rate, school starts tomorrow! So be prepared for morning and afternoon delays getting down Winn St., Francis Wyman, Wilmington Rd., Cambridge St., and - well - just about anywhere. I hope all our kiddos and their amazing teachers and school staff have a wonderful first day.

Don’t forget to make a plan to vote!

And the Francis Wyman rd sewer line project. Which will affect Pine Glen, Marshall Simonds, Shawsheen High and BHS bus routes. Plus all the parents taking students to schools. “School Days dear old fashioned School Days”!
