Weekly Buzz | A Slow Re-Entry
Town offices and schools closed today
Hello, Burlington, and Happy 2023!
I took an impromptu day off yesterday; crazy how draining the holiday season is. I didn’t realize how tired I was until I finally sat down and couldn’t get up.
So far this week, we’re looking at a slow entry into the new year. Just a few meetings, some sports, and a few events…so far. I’m sure other items will be added as the week goes on, so be sure to check your Daily Buzz each day!

In Hockey, JV Boys came back from behind to tie Wilmington on Friday 3-3, while Varsity Girls took their first loss of the season to Malden Catholic on Saturday and boys tied Melrose 0-0.
Our wrestling team competed at a quad meet yesterday and finished with a 2-1 record, beating Billerica 42-36 and Middleborough 42-30 and falling to Lexington 30-54. The team is coming into 2023 with a 4-4 record.
