Daily Buzz | Last Day to Grow the Grinch’s Heart

Plus, two more days to help the Buzz reach 1000 readers

Good Morning!

It’s late, so I’m going to keep this short!

I’ve been out with my little elf (complete with a jingle bell necklace) dropping off free gifts (ceramic mug and some other little surprises) to new subscribers and some special supporters who have worked hard to get our name out there all year. The last day of 2022 is tomorrow, and we are three subscribers shy of 1000! I’ll shut up about this after tomorrow, but it would feel really good to hit this milestone as the year comes to a close!

  • Remember the activity through the library where residents can find a piece of the Grinch’s heart at local businesses and return them to the library for a prize? It was originally scheduled to end on 12/23, but it turns out that the activity has been extended through today. So, look for a sign with Max, Grinch’s dog in participating businesses, grab a piece of the Grinch’s heart, and return them to the library for a prize!
  • Today at the library, the family movie is already underway, but there are still two spaces left for the DIY Marble Maze tween event at 4:00. After today, the library will be closed until Tuesday.

In sports, our JV Boys’ Hockey team won in Woburn yesterday while our Varsity Girls’ Basketball team fell 52-63 against Waltham.

For today, there’s an indoor track meet going on right now, plus JV Boys’ Hockey in Wilmington at 3.

I’ll be back tomorrow with part retrospective and part preview of what you can expect in 2023.

Take care and I’ll see you then!
