Good Morning and Happy Friday!
It’s still gross outside for a couple more days, but at least we can celebrate that Burlington U11 baseball is the second best team in all of New England!
Unfortunately, the Red Devils lost their championship game yesterday 5-1 against the team from Andy Valley, ME. But that doesn’t detract from the amazing work these kids and their coaching staff have done all season. Congrats to the team, the coaches and other staff, and the families who have supported them all season and through the years. This will really be a season to remember!
Also, the Sculpture Park now has its full complement of artwork for the 2022-24 installation. If you’ve been holding off visiting until the changeover is complete, now’s the time to go. We’ve got Rybee House, Seraph, Pod, Composition #1, Meadow Dancer, and now Lumen to round out the season.
Soon, Follow Your Heart will return to join Havoc on the corner of the Common and we’ll be settled for the next two years.
Summer always holds so much promise. As a student and a teacher and a mom, I’ve looked forward to summer every year for my entire life. But things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser.
That’s it for today. Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for some enthralling State Representative talk.
See you then!

Thanks Nikki! One more thing - there is an additional sculpture not listed here - Pod, which is the stone piece right near the park entrance! Once Follow Your Heart returns, we will have nine pieces, 7 in the park and 2 on the common!
