Breaking Down the 9 Questions on Your November Ballot
A simple breakdown of each question and how a yes vote may impact Burlington.
Nine questions are on the Massachusetts state ballot this November — and if you haven't had a chance to dig into them yet, you're not alone. Some are straightforward; others are more complicated than they look.
Burlington Buzz Editor-in-Chief Nicci Kadilak sat down with Town of Burlington Communications Officer Laura Zakrewski to go through all nine, one by one, so you can walk into the polls knowing exactly what you're voting on. See the full conversation on BCAT's YouTube channel.
The election is November 3, 2026, and there are several options for voting:
- Vote early from October 17-30. Voting is open during Town Hall business hours weekdays or from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays.
- Vote by mail/absentee ballot; last day to request one is October 27.
- Vote on Election Day at Burlington High School. Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
