On September 11th,Mortgage News Daily reported the average 30 year fixed rate at just 6.27%. In addition, the Mortgage Bankers Association reported a 9.2% increase in mortgage applications for the week ending on September 5th, showing that buyers are ready to jump back into the market.

If rates continue to trend downward, Burlington may see even more buyers entering the market this fall. More demand paired with limited inventory will keep Burlington home prices on the rise.
