Daily Buzz | Tomorrow is the Last Day to Register to Vote

Good morning, folks!

I’ve got a nice, short Friday Buzz for you today.

Today in Burlington

Meetings and Events

Don’t forget to vote in the upcoming election and take a listen to my interviews about Question 5, the Community Preservation Act, with Jonathan Sachs (for) and John Iler (against).

I mentioned before that I’m not going to dive into the statewide questions, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do your research. You can find a sample ballot here.

Tomorrow is your last day to register to vote, so be sure and do that if you haven’t already!

  • 8:30 AM-1:00 PM - Early In-Person Voting - at Town Hall
  • 7:00 PM - Comedy Night to benefit Burlington High School Scholarship Program, sponsored by Rotary Club

Sports and Activities

Tomorrow afternoon, the BHS Marching Band will have their annual Send Off Show as they prepare to head to the NESBA Championships in Reading the next day. Come out and show your support at their open rehearsal on Saturday from 3:15-5:30 at Varsity field. There will be an open rehearsal and then a send-off so our players can really feel the love before the championship!

Score Update

  • Red Devils football saw a disappointing 50-0 loss to a strong Stoneham team last night.

Today’s Schedule

  • Wilmington will be here for a volleyball matchup, playing JVA/JVB at 4:15 and Varsity at 5:30.
  • Waltham will be here to play our boys in soccer; JV at 4:15 and Varsity at 7:00.
  • JV Football is at home as well, playing Stoneham at 4:15.
  • There is swim going on this week, but I haven’t been able to track down the details. Good luck to all our swimmers!

Friday Funny

Guilty as charged  ‍♀️

That’s all for me. I hope you enjoy your Friday!
