Prospective students are invited to visit Burlington’s regional vocational school on January 17 from 6-8 PM for an open house. Shawsheen Tech will be showcasing their programs and facilities for interested middle school students and their families ahead of the February 1 application deadline. Alumni and other interested community members are encouraged to attend, as well! Learn more below, and don’t forget to stop by the Civic Expo first!

Help Make the Civic Expo the Best it Can Be

The first-ever Civic Expo, held by the Town of Burlington and Burlington Buzz, is coming up in just under two weeks! So far, 25 different town boards, departments, subcommittees, and non-profits have reserved their tables, and we have offers coming in from local businesses and individuals who will be helping with childcare, raffle prizes, and refreshments.

But the Expo won’t be a success without you! Over the two years that the Buzz has been around, we hope you’ve learned quite a bit about how the town works. And the Civic Expo is a great place to spread that learning around so we can all have a better understanding of the inner workings of the place we call home.

Please fill out this form (or reply to this email or leave a comment) and answer two simple questions:

  1. What is one thing you've learned about how Burlington works that you want to be sure your neighbors also know?
  2. What is one thing you'd still like to know about how Burlington works?

We’ll be using the answers to these questions in planning the event, to ensure it’s helpful for everyone who attends. Here are the event details again:
