Campaign Announcement | Mike Espejo

PRESS RELEASE from Mike Espejo, candidate for Burlington Select Board

March 10, 2022

Friends, neighbors and citizens of Burlington,

My name is Mike Espejo and I am running for the Select Board. I am currently on the Planning Board and was entrusted to serve in that capacity in 2019. From my days as Class President at Burlington High School in 1991 and Eagle Scout from Burlington’s Troop 511 to today, I have always tried to be a good example and steward for our town.

We have many challenges ahead of us. The global pandemic has changed the world as we know it and we need to continue our recovery. We also need a new police station, a few new elementary schools and need to fix our water issues. If we work together, communicate, and listen to each other, I know we can get there.

I believe in Burlington and the wonderful community we have. We certainly aren’t perfect and have our issues just like everywhere else. In my 35+ years as a resident, I can proudly say Burlington is a great town and there is no other place I would rather choose to put my stakes into the ground. With your vote, I will continue to work to make Burlington the best place it can be and a home we can all be proud of.

If you’d like to learn more about me, please feel free to reach out to me at any time via email at mike@selectmike.com or take a look at my campaign website (www.selectmike.com).

I am respectfully asking for one of your two votes on April 9th and thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Mike Espejo
